About Us

Our Vision & Purpose

The vision that drives Bible Way Institute is two-fold:

Every Christian should be educated and equipped for the fullest use of their spiritual gifts in serving others for Christ’s sake.

We desire to raise up a mighty army of men and women who are prepared to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through vision and spiritual preparation of the heart, and training in the Word of God, its principles and methods.

Our History

Bible Way Institute was conceived by the Holy Spirit in answer to a cry from the harvest fields of the world for materials geared for training the average layman. Bible Way institute is birthing a vision designed to move laymen from vision to reality. The curriculum takes students beyond teaching to training where participation is required. The participation to which students are challenged is that of spiritual reproduction. Jesus final command was to reproduce spiritually (Matthew 23:19-20).

Bible Way Institute training is for lay men and women who do not have opportunities, educationally and/or financially. The institution equips students with creative Bible study skills to enable continued study of Scriptures following basic course training. But the primary focus of institute training is teaching what Jesus taught to move men from observation to demonstration of the power of God.

It is not the desire of Bible Way Institute to create a denominational structure but rather a network working between denominations, churches, organizations, and nations to raise up laborers for worldwide spiritual harvest. It is to this purpose that Bible Way Institute is dedicated, to recruit, train, motivate, and mobilize a network of Local and International harvesters.

Bible Way Institute is sponsored by the Bible Way Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ World Wide Inc. of Trinidad & Tobago

Administration

The Academic Dean of the Bible Way Institute may have an orientation meeting for all new students or he may give you individual orientation. Your orientation will provide needed and beneficial information about many of the procedures, services and opportunities in your Resource center.

Faculty and Staff

Bible Way Institute would like to employ full-time personnel, if they had sufficient money and the personnel available. But realistically speaking, you may find few full-time teachers in institute. Many teachers are also pastors, elders as well as lay ministers in full-time secular work. Often the resource center could not survive without the dedicated efforts of part-time teachers.

Student Body Organizations and Activities

The Bible Way Institute has a student body president or representative, he/she may be the one to inform you of Bible Way Institute organizations and activities. You will want to know what student organizations are in the Bible Institute, what activities are available and how you may be involved.

Academic Practices and Procedures

The Academic Dean is responsible for the scheduling of courses. Although the Academic Dean wants to know what courses you prefer to take, you need to remember that he has to consider all courses, all students and courses they need, as well as all teacher schedules, etc. Therefore, there will be times when you may not get your preference of courses or schedule.

You will have questions arise during the term. Your Bible Way Institute Student Handbook is a good resource for many questions you may have. If after referring to it you do not find the answer to your question, do not hesitate to approach your Academic Dean.
